Interrupted Lives – Exhibition at Freie Universität Berlin
The Abdorrahman Boroumand Foundation is holding its latest exhibit at the prestigious Freie Universität Berlin. This marks its first ever debut in Europe in order to spread the awareness of the ongoing repression of students occurring within the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Interrupted Lives exhibit is co-sponsored by Amnesty International and will be held within the Henry Ford Building corridor on November 11, 2011, starting at 19:30.
Ladan Boroumand will be speaking tomorrow night as well. As a senior director of the Boroumand Foundation, she will be talking about the current situation of Iranian students and giving her expertise on what students around the world can do to help. Also, a wonderful student activist by the name of Sepehr Masakeni will be making a speech. He was a sociology major at Tehran University, and will give his insight on the current issue at hand from a very different and interesting perspective.
The Boroumand Foundation is happy to present the Interrupted Lives Exhibit!
